FEATURES OF THE USE OF ELECTROSURGICAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MASTECTOMY

The results of treatment of 78 patients with breast cancer during 2006 to 2016 years were presented in this research. We used high-frequency electrosurgical welding and contactless thermal jetting of living tissue in surgical wound during the mobilization of breast and performing limphodisektion to prevent the postmastectomy lymphorrhea for them. Our experience in the use of non-contact thermal jet treatment in the surgical treatment of breast cancer showed their high efficacy in stopping bleeding and lymphorrhea from vessels with a caliber of up to 3 mm, the results of our study showed. After the stage of radical mastectomy of the removal of the mammary gland was completed and lymphodissection was performed using cutting and coagulation modes, targeted hemo-and lymphostasis and washing of the surgical wound with an antiseptic solution were performed.

The using of high-frequency electrosurgical welding and contactless thermal jetting of living tissue in surgical wound during the mobilization of breast and performing limphodisektion are a significant intraoperative method of preventing the development of volumic and long-term postmastectomy lymphorrhea.
